Introduction :
Amendments to the Employment Act 1955 (2022) have already been implemented in West Malaysia starting 1st of January 2023.
This two-days’ workshop will introduce those managers to human resource concepts. We will walk you through the amended Employment Act which include the new working hours, increase of maternity leave; and cover some issues that arise such as compensation, and discipline. At the same note, participants will be clearer on the details for amended employment act which effective on 1st January 2023. All relevant provisions under the Act will be highlighted including the EMPLOYMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT 2022.
This program will cover the pertinent and relevant areas of the Employment Act (both Old and New) and the differences that the new amendments bring about that deals with minimum employee benefits, minimum requirements to be adhered to, definitions that must be complied with and how we can utilize the Act to better manage our employees.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the application of the Human Resources Management.
- Learn the Purpose Of The Employment Act 1955 And Who Are Covered By It
- Know the law and regulations under the existing Employment Act 1955.
- Understand the amendments in amended Employment Act 2022.
- Practise the application of the existing law and Employment Act in better managing employees.
Who to attend
Line Managers or Line Sections Heads & Supervisors who need to better manage their subordinates in their respective Departments would also need to have a detailed overview of the Employment Act and all calculations contained therein in order to better manage their subordinates, and thus will also find it most beneficial as it explains the many stipulations of the Employment Act
